A planner, designer, and lover of cities

What I Do

Document Design

From building a single-page resume to a 400-page state report with over 300 unique graphics – I can help with your document needs. Using Word, Excel, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and more. I love making information accessible to any audience.

Websites

I have created websites from scratch for projects, non-profits, and small businesses. I love making my clients dreams come alive online. I work exclusively in WordPress, I use easy to understand themes that I can train my clients to use so they can manage their own sites once built. I also offer training, graphic design, logo design, and content editing if needed.

Project Assistance

With a background in planning, experience with research, writing, project management, operations support, and a wide variety of technical skills – I can help with all sorts of project needs.

About Me

I am an urban planner and designer fascinated by how design can influence and affect people. I strive to create good design – from streetscapes to websites – to help people navigate their world. I also knows the importance of public and community involvement and have extensive experience engaging community leaders, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and the general public.

As an environmental planner I developed Environmental Impact Statements for large transportation projects all over the country. In addition to my planning and technical writing skills, I have grown my skills with GIS, graphic design, and website development to supplement the growing needs and complexity of 21st century planning projects. I believe that these tools help communicate ideas and translate technical information into reader-friendly formats.

I hold a master’s degree in Urban Planning and Design, with a Certificate in Urban Design from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s in Urban Studies from San Francisco State University.

And I can’t wait to work with you.
